To achieve the goal of boosting student engagement, it is crucial to apply the latest research findings.

Creating a supportive and respectful classroom environment is vital, fostering trust, belonging, and communication. Personalised gestures or messages, greeting students by name, and icebreakers establish rapport. Circles and structured conversations promote social and emotional learning, build community, and address challenges.
In the quest to enhance student engagement in K-12 education, educators are encouraged to implement these evidence-based strategies.
